Digital Africa relies on a network of local partners who will be its first source of qualified startups, this qualitative approach will allow it to have a high rate of relevant applications and increase the chances of processing applications in a shorter timeframe while allowing funded start-ups to benefit from quality support.

This partnership allows the partner to:

  • Regularly submit a list of eligible startups to Fuzé.
  • Qualify the list of startups submitted through an evaluation sheet. The opinion of the partner is strongly taken into consideration in the instruction process.
  • Continue to provide quality support recognized by the partner.

This partnership allows Digital Africa to:

  • Display and communicate about the active partners of the project.
  • Fund the startups proposed by the partner after evaluation. Within the limits of the available envelopes, support the activities of the partner in the accompaniment of the startups.

How to become a partner?

All startup support structures can become partners by applying via our digital interface. The Fuzé team evaluates each candidate according to several criteria including: track record, quality of the program (diversity of content, diversity of private or public partnerships...), length of existence of the structure, geographical area covered.

Partner eligibility criteria: Geographic coverage: French-speaking Africa Stage of maturity of the entrepreneurs supported: ideation, MVP/POC A proven track record in supporting startups towards growth. Types of structures: government programs, incubators, gas pedals, business angels syndicates, university incubators, venture builders, pre-seed funds, open innovation programs. Partnership duration: 1 year renewable Nature of projects supported: any solution with a Tech component in the product / business model. Diversity and complementarity of the partner's offer. Number and quality of local and/or international partners. Will not be considered, scouting structures that operate by commission or any other organization offering paid services to startups (dealmakers, consultants ... etc.). Have at least one year of existence
